ATR members
ATR member companies can be categorized as follows: 

• Transporters for own account
  Companies bringing their own products, tools and materials to their clients.
   
• Transport users (both the senders and the receivers)
  They are the principals of the traditional carriers (the transportation companies). These principals have businesses in trade, industry, construction and agriculture. Transportation users are the owners or traders of these commodities. Transportation users decide the way in which the cargo will be carried to their customers (by road, rail, water, or air). They do not transport themselves but outsource transportation and logistics to carriers/transport companies.
   
• Factories, wholesalers and retailers who are receivers of goods. 
  They receive raw materials and products from senders for further processing and selling. Receivers are becoming more and more the decisive factors in steering the cargo flow.

Why should I become a member of ATR?

As a member of the ATR you too can be part of the platform for infrastructure, road safety and logistic matters.
You can use this platform and the support of the ATR facilities and networks to influence decision makers in many ways, one of the most popular is through ATR seminars, conferences or round tables. ATR will inform you of recent developments and can help you with your lobby or public affairs contacts with the Romanian and European institutions.

ATR will join, on behalf of its members, the monthly meetings with the Ministry of Economics and Finance in order to suggest and to discuss improvements of the Romanian Economical conditions in general, for Romanian and foreign investors.

Possibility of observation before becoming a member
Do you need to “try before you buy”? No problem! You may join as an ‘associate member for a period of observation’. With this facility you pay the minimum level of fee but still have the right to use all our services for a limited time. If you are already in a position to become a ‘full’ member, you would also be allocated a fixed number of votes (see under), which you can use to represent the interests of your company during the General Assembly. 

Membership Card: the holder of an ATR membership card is entitled to:

• attend ATR lobbying visits to the Romanian / EU authorities defending your interests
• attend and vote at the annual ATR General Assembly
